11. Are there any plans to develop or adopt content area standards for the preparation of teachers in computer science? Not SureApproval of Teacher Education programs in New York State falls under the Office of College and University Evaluation (OCUE) http://www.highered.nysed.gov/ocue/
12. Do you require ongoing Professional Development for teachers teaching in this area? Other Professional development is required by Section 80-3.6 of Commissioners Regulations for all holders of professional teaching certificates. Also, employing public school districts may require professional development for all their employed teachers.
